Fast fashion has ushered throwaway culture into the clothing business. People are buying more clothes and discarding them faster than ever. But Giants Tie Dye knows how to save the clothes from ending up in landfills.

This workshop offers a taste of indigo dyeing, one of the oldest dyeing methods in human history. Participants are invited to bring along a piece of their old clothing and give it a new life by dyeing with natural indigo dye.

Notes to participants:
1. Only accept clothes made from over 80% cotton or linen
2. Only accept thin light-colored tops but not one-pieces, trousers, bags or sweaters
3. Dirt, yellow stains, logos or other prints on the clothes are fine
4. Please clean the clothes in advance
5. If you are not sure whether your clothes are suitable, you might bring more than one item to the workshop and seek advice from the tutor
6. Please bring a plastic bag for carrying the finished work
