About

NEW OLD. OLD NEW.

deTour is returning to PMQ from 29 Nov to 8 Dec with an exciting line-up of local and overseas creative talents. We are inviting everyone to create, experience and have fun with design.

In response to this year’s theme “NEW OLD. OLD NEW.”, co-creators from different regions and disciplines are inspired by elements and ideas from the OLD to explore how, through the design process, to create something NEW. Demonstrating the new values and meanings relevant to today’s society: Morag Myerscough (UK) and WARE (HK) will spread joy with their interactive installation; six local and overseas designer units will showcase their interpretations in a group exhibition held at the historical foundation remain; Neville Brody (UK) and Wing Shya (HK) will share their insight and knowledge about their creative process and beyond at a Master Class; and more…

There are countless opportunities to be inspired by design. There are installations, exhibitions, workshops and design dialogues awaiting your exploration. Be ready with a curious mind and join us at deTour 2019!
